I have been doing most of my work on a Mac Air, been getting used to it, had windows for most of my life and when I was pretty young I used Ubuntu on some computers. Loved to get them installed but the pain of setting it up was a nightmare.
Maybe it was because I was not so good and Linux on those years was even more technical.
I have a Samsung notebook that literally has been collecting dust because windows 10 is ultra slow on it.
I tried installing Lubuntu and for my surprise it was incredibly fast but not pretty, then I said maybe Ubuntu is not that bad, so I proceeded to install it. And I can’t believe it.
It’s way faster than what I was expecting. UI is better. Man is really just behind Apple but way ahead of Windows.
I’m setting it up. If updating Ubuntu is not as it used to be, then I’m all in as a second option, there is basically no other way to use this notebook.
I want to set it up to code, design won’t be possible but if I think it’s not working will go directly to just browsing and watching YT videos.
Anyway will post an update on this post in a few days.
