Forgetting curves

Ebbinghaus said we tend to forget 60% of the information we have just processed within the first 20 minutes.

There has also been studies and one way to fight it and avoid the fall is to take notes or review the information learned multiple times, I think the input on the information makes a difference too.

I’m in a constant struggle to learn a lot of information at once and then stop because I can’t take any more and I know I will lose it versus splitting the information in chunks and taking it with ease and going back again and again to fully understand.

For me most of the time I need to have full control on the learning environment. But I haven’t fully developed or mastered the skills.
